There are some rules to follow when playing a role in the VWF.
1.) You may have 3 wrestlers per e-mail address, and those three may not fight each other for a championship, or more than once in a singles match.
2.) The use of vulgar language is tolerated to an extent due to some of the extreme natures of the programs. However, excessive vulgarity and/or racial comments will not be tolerated.
3.) You are required to post at least two times a week on the RP Board. Excessive failure to so will result in termination.
4.) In RP posts, you may only speak for your wrestler,
and not someone else's. In other words, you cannot have other wrestlers
accept challenges or confront you, unless it is agreed upon by the other
party.
Creating Your Wrestler:
Creating your wrestler is a vital step in becoming
an World Wrestling League wrestler. We only allow original wrestlers,
not wrestlers that already exist such as Steve Austin or Goldberg, nor
may you use a wrestler's nickname (i.e. Stone Cold or Hitman.) Exceptions
will be made, for example...Matthew 'The Hitman' Karslow would be acceptable.
You may not use a similar theme, wrestling clothes, or anything else that
a real wrestler uses. E-mail me for any questions. Keep your
wrestler as unique and original as possible. It makes the federation
more fun and enjoyable for everyone!
Deciding the outcome of matches:
Matches will be played out on the TNM simulator.
Although much of the match will be random, I often choose the winner by
judging on the RPs by the players. In other words, you must RP often
to try and be the best...but it does not guarantee victory all the time.
The VWF Shows:
Monday Night Mayhem:
A weekly event that the VWF runs. Not the
most important show, but an attraction of its own. Moderately important
matches take place on this show, but it is not as big of an attraction
as Saturday Night Superstars. Mainly an event that determines who
gets the title shots and better matches.
Wednesday Night Massacre:
A weekly event the consists mainly of minor wrestlers
competing for title shots. Occasionally, a title defense will take
place. Also, every other Wednesday features a battle royal to determine
a contender for a championship title that is selected by President Ryan
Lenz.
Saturday Night Superstars:
This is the most important weekly event of the
VWF. This is where all the superstars come out to shine and where
most of the title defenses and important matches will take place.
VWF Titles:
There are currently 6 titles in the VWF, being
five singles and one tag team. You can not hold two single's titles
at the same time, but you can hold a single's title and be co-holder of
the Tag team titles. All titles must be defended at PPVs.
VWF World Heavyweight Championship:
The top championship title in the VWF.
It takes hard work and dedication to become the owner of this belt.
Defense of this title is required to be at least once a month on a standard
show.
VWF World Heavyweight Tag Team Championship:
The goal of all tag teams is to earn the World
tag team straps. Only the best tag teams earn these belts through
hard work and fighting to be the best there is. These belts must
be defended at least once a month on a regular VWF TV show.
VWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship:
The next championship belt on the ladder in the
VWF is the Intercontinental title. Although not as prestigous as
the World title, it is a prize in itself. It must be defended at
least once a month on a television event.
VWF United States Heavyweight Championship:
The U.S. title is one of the more important prizes
in the VWF. This belt must be defended two times each month, in addition
to PPV defenses.
VWF Cruiserweight Championship: The 'title for
the little guys' is the Cruiserweight title. It may only be possesed
by wrestlers that are 250 lbs. and under. It must be defended at
least twice a month at TV events.
Injuries:
Injuries can happen in the VWF, and during the
course of your VWF career, your wrestler may be injured. An injury
especially can occur if he has participated in a hardcore match, or been
hit by some kind of weapon, or even by a misplaced move by an opponent.
Either way, in the event that your wrestler gets injured you must roleplay
accordingly. Injuries may range from sprained ankles to torn ligaments
to broken bones and you can be out for a few days to a few weeks.
Breaking the Rules & Suspensions:
If you break any of the VWF rules, you may face
a suspension according to the severity of your rule breaking. One
to three
week suspensions will be given out. If
the rulebreaking continues, it will be an automatic one month suspension.
If, for a third
time it occurs, you will be expelled from the
VWF from a timespan lasting from three months to life.
